No link, just an opinion that i have expressed on another forum here many times.
Back to A-State, do like the fact your coach is stepping up, and holding himself, and the team accountable to playing up to their talent.
Poster on the AStateNations The Den forum reported that at today's TD Club Meeting he said:
"He said he has a lot of confidence in our defense this season. He thinks the offense has all the parts but lacks experience. He said he will tell the team tomorrow that
his expectations for a season of football have never been higher than they are right now. His stated goal is "being the best of the G5 and playing in the Cotton Bowl."
Nothing else should be their goal this year, and that does require separation be shown on the field against SBC, and the other G5 Competition or no go.
I also listened to your SR Transfer QB from Pitt, Chad Voytik, on AStateNation radio, and his assessment was that there was no comparing the speed ( and I'm not sure maybe the talent also) at A-State vs Pitt. Much, better at A-State. Says the only question on the team was the QB position.
Their DC, also on AStateNation radio, said only a couple of the receivers in the SBC are close to matching what they face every day in practice, and both of them are at GaSt.
