Well Coogs fans, as we found out today that the person responsible for the hire of Tom Herman and Kelvin Sampson is Baylor's new AD, my question is should we be concerned with this?

Mack Rhoades leaves Missouri, accpets AD job at Baylor

Mack Rhoades was more responsible for Levine and Dickey than Herman and Sampson.

In fact, Dickey was on nobody's radar. It was Rhoades relationship with Doc Sadler that conjured up that idea. Levine was on nobodys radar either. A ST coach.

Rhoades is a subpar AD. Mizzou fans were no more impressed than Houston fans were.

I wouldn't say he was sub par he did pretty well for us just not great.

Why would any coach with options choose to go to a school that:
A. Is in the middle of the biggest scandal since Penn State.
B. Is awaiting punishment from the NCAA, and/or the courts.
C. Could not be allowed to go to bowl games and have scholarship limitations.
D. Has only 10 of 22 2016 commits on campus.
E. The QB of the future just transferred out of the program.
F. Has 1 2017 recruit
G. Will have parents of recruits turn him away at the door because of the horrible things that went on at Baylor.

If Herman were to leave after this year is over, he would be walking away from the #1 rated QB in 2014 and an easier route to a NY6 game. Also, he said he would only leave for a few schools. Basically blue bloods (UT, OU, OSU types), not USCe and Baylor type schools.

Nah, we have nothing to worry about.
