Kasich is an adult unlike Trump and is not a sneaky, duplicitous snake like Hillary. Easy choice between the three.

Already stepped up to the voting machine, swallowed hard and voted for him once in Ohio this year. Second time would be a breeze.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to be stuck voting for a 3rd party candidate, whomever that may be.

Then you are voting for Hillary

I'll agree Cruz or Rubio might be.. but Bush? Not a chance he was getting the nomination once his first slide started.

Correct, so he knows how real capitalism works. But add 14 years as a Congressman, including stint as Chairman of Budget committee, and couple of terms as a governor.

No other Republican candidate could match that resume.

For the record, I concur on Jeb, I didn't like Cruz at all, and thought Rubio was too young. So I didn't see any candidate other than Kasich I could (and financially did) support.

I still believe that Mitt would have been a truly great President. But as we now see, being a great campaigner is more important.

As it was, he drained votes from them and left Trump with YUUUGE 1st place finishes instead of 2nds or close 1sts. I'd have a hard time voting for him on a 3rd party ticket because of that. He was delusional enough to think he could win (so crazy just like Trump and Clinton) and self-centered enough to stay in the race (putting self over country just like Trump and Clinton). Both raise doubts about his judgement and temperament.
I think he did us a favor by staying in, I'd rather Trump than Cruz, and I've had enough Bushes. Maybe Rubio would have been ok, although I think the notion that he was a Republican version of Obama holds some weight.

Four years of Hillary, who will be denied the chance to do anything by Congress, and then we'll see if someone worth a damn can emerge on the other side for 2020.

If Kasich gets the nomination due to convention shennanigans, I'm sitting out... and I don't like Trump. Same thing with Cruz and he was my choice. The people spoke and we got Trump, deal with it.

I hope republicans learned a lesson this election cycle. That lesson being to give voters fewer options during the primaries. There were too many candidates that were similar, splitting the vote and allowing an outlier like Donald Trump to scoop up everyone that was looking for something different.

In a primary that had only 4 or 5 options, Trump wouldn't have been the nominee. Instead, all the people running that were very similar split the vote, making all of them look like they had little support while Trump cleaned up with people that gullible enough to believe his outrageous statements.

It wouldnt have mattered if there were 4 or 5 (there was and Trump still won) or 400. This election cycle is about bringing in an outsider. Outsiders brought in about 70% of the pledged delegates from both parties combined.

Only if Kasich didn't run at all. In that scenario, Bush would have been 1st or a close 2nd in NH and it would have been a different race. At that point, either Bush or Cruz win.

Repubs control the house, thr senate and majority of state legislatures. Let the dems continue under the illusion that they are somehow in control

Everyone whining about wanting another status quo milquetoast candidate.

We've had those for decades and they are the reason why the country is in the state its in now.

Your choices are a lying politically correct robo-candidate from the aristocracy...The Donald...or a third party protest.

The status quo was rejected. Kasich was rejected. Jeb was rejected. Enough with the CPR on the corpse.
