And exactly who the **** is going to take that on in the GOP? They need a lot more than empty promises.

No. It's because nobody cares about conservative principles.

Reagan is the only one who could weld this contraption together. It held for a long time without maintenance. But its come apart now finally.
The Republican establishment hopes Hillary wins so the rank and file will have no place to go again in 4 years.
Maybe they are right. But I'm not biting.
And Trump won't be around, but there will be those who see opportunity to win as a rebel like Trump did.

RE: Jeb on why never Hillary, never Trump
I used to think years ago Jeb would have made a decent President but when He entered this campaign He came across as a spineless Pu$$y that when things didn't go His way, he was going to take His ball and Go Home. Spoiled brat! He dad should be wondering where He went wrong. W, for all of the setbacks He endured, at least had backbone and endured the punishment and dealt it back too.

If Hilldawg wins, the same people that re elected Obama will just vote Her back in for another round of abusing the American working class. Those folks want freebies and always Take instead of contributing help themselves.

So how is he equal to Hillary?

No, offense but iirc, youre probably old enough and well off enough for it not to matter by the time he gets a real "trade war" going. The working class in this country need options. Right now, there are none. Owl's ideas or getting them trained for high tech jobs are a complete pipe dream for a lot of reasons (sorry owl). Plenty if people would happily do "unskilled" labor here producing tangible goods . It sure as hell beats the welfare alternative.
I agree they need options, but the people don't need a legal fiat from on high to make that change. Consumers themselves could dictate that by virtue of their shopping preferences. The very threat of American brand loyalty is why many foreign car companies decided to set-up plants stateside.

But he is right.
We are totally ****** as a country with either one of them. And there isn't even a "least desirable" choice. On my 1-10 desirability scale (1=least desirable, 10 = most desirable), each rates a zero.
this is where I have to say, "how in the fk do you know that?"
Trump is nothing more than an 'opportunity'.....
we already know the dipshite cunnnt provides....
c'mon man...
Imma go have a drink or four now...
I understand your point but I'm just not comfortable with Trump sitting in the Oval Office. I don't think he has shown any sign of being a thoughtful President.
I don't totally disagree with him. Although I don't think he'll build a wall, he may at least instruct law enforcement to enforce the existing immigration laws, which would be a plus. He "might" appoint right leaning judges to the SCOTUS and other Federal courts.
But if he follows up on his trade promises, he'll create a global trade war which will not end well for America, nor my portfolio.
And I don't believe he has even a scintilla of insight into foreign affairs. He reminds me of Pat Buchanen's isolationism without the logic.
I suppose that if he came out and told us what his main team of advisers was going to be, that would be a help to me to alleviate my Concerns. If he surrounded himself with the right people, with lots of inside Washington experience, then I'd feel better. But that would be antithetical to his positions and his supporters.
1. the wall is a metaphor only being used in tactical expression as being 'real'
2. Pat Buchanan is a fk'n moral idiot
3. yes, your back pocket is the reason 'to'
4. diversify in commodities like water and gold....it'll help longer term....or gamble on the short side....401k collapse is only around the corner unless Trump....

True but why would I take that as an offense. Do you actualy think I'm embarassed by my success? Still I have children and grandchildren who will have to live in this country for a long time after I'm gone.
A couple of years back, I participated in a study of 2,300 Harvard Business School graduates that was attempting to develop a strategy for a renaissance of American manufacturing. The depressing thing is that the project developed few ideas that would make a big difference in the short term.
