Just wanted to see if anyone knows the dates for SunBelt media days this summer ?

I think it is the 18th and 19th of July. I wish it were a different week because I'm going to have to miss it this year due to a work conflict.

Ha ha, actually I had the dates I typed wrong and I'm still missing it Got a strategic report-out at work I cannot miss. I knew I had the conflict, just had the dates all screwed up.

Really hate it too, first media day event I've missed since 1997 (going back to our SoCon days).

Apologies for the shameless self promotion (and if it's not okay to do so, please let me know and it won't happen again), but I wanted to let everyone know that 95.3 The Ticket from Jonesboro will again be making the trek to Sun Belt Media Day. As is usually the case, we'll touch base with every HC in the league and throw in a few other guests as well. Coverage will run from 11a-1p and 3-6p that Monday the 25th, and everything can be streamed at 953theticket.com. When we get the lineup for that day, I'll pass it along.

If you feel like you need to send someone in your place, as a proxy of some sort, I think that would make for an interesting contest over on GSUFans.

He will just send E22Jr in his place since E22 has more than likely been dragging Jr along to these events in the past. Also you have to remember that E22Jr has now taken over the day-to-day operations of the site from his dear ole Dad.

I listen all the time on the live stream app and the efforts of The Ticket to cover is much appreciated. Yes it is heavier on stAte, (and it better be!) but also great last year that you put up interviews and info on the other SBC teams as well.

Self promotion is allowable in this case since half this message board gets regularly linked Interviews on the Ticket, and you guys remain one of the few radio stations that gives the Sun Belt a large amount of coverage.

As long as those interviews stay free to the public, it's fine with me.

Good to see that the folks over at the Ticket found the site. We appreciate all the coverage you guys provide for the Sun Belt.
