Coming from you I take that as a compliment 02-13-banana

To me Boise State is the G5 program to emulate and has by far the most consistent success out of all the G5 schools. Their success against Major P5 and BCS games speaks for itself. No slight against ECU but when someone compares ECU success to Boise, I disagree. I think that 99% of knowledgeable college football fans would agree on that.

Let's not rehash me telling you AGAIN - I never compared ECU to Boise. What I disagreed was you comparing LaTech to ECU.

I know i'm late to this part however I needed to say this. App State is the first program in NCAA history to win 11 games in their inaugural season as full FBS.

App State and Georgia Southern are the only teams to ever win a bowl game in their first season being eligible.

Maybe Boise has been the blue print, but don't be surprised if that luster has been passed on.

Every year there is a "new Boise State". The real Boise State has 3 bcs bowl wins in the past 10 years and a 198-55 record since turning D1. I will keep holding my breath.

They aren't winning at that clip anymore. Basically, Boise isnt Boise anymore. I wouldn't hold my breathe waiting for those undefeated seasons to return.

Please do. You are better off not seeing the reality of today's market. Boise go bye bye.

Winning 8-9 games is a down year for bsu not going 0 fer like UCF.

Boise St's success is a testament to their athletic department and coaches. It is particularly remarkable because they are laboring under the yoke of a relatively thinly populated poor state with few elite D-1 recruits. These strategic disadvantages make it more difficult for Boise to maintain their stellar record.
