My Neighbor's kid played for Pfeiffer last year, too bad he transferred.

Benny's son is a nice player but not a top player in SC-more like a 2 Star recruit at best I would say. Much like his Dad,he can shoot but does not rebound or enjoy playing defense. Good prospect and I think could easily play in the CAA for any team.

RE: 2016-2017 Basketball Schedule
Phenom hoops says he is a 6'7" high IQ wing who can score and defend. Delaware is the only CAA school to offer him. I did read that coach Martin at South Carolina is recruiting him, but has not yet offered. There is speculation that he may grow a few more inches.A size that SC could use.

Nov. 6 MOUNT OLIVE
Nov. 11 CLAFLIN
Nov. 14 at Eastern Kentucky
Nov. 20 EAST TENNESSEE STATE
Nov. 25 Middle Tennessee State*
Nov. 26 Evansville*
Nov. 27 Toledo*
Nov. 30 at Western Michigan
Dec. 3 PFEIFFER*
Dec. 10 at St. Bonaventure
Dec. 14 at Campbell
Dec. 17 RADFORD
Dec. 20 EAST CAROLINA
Dec. 28 at Clemson

I want to admit I was wrong about this Out of conference schedule. Outside of my opinion on the non D1 games which we have discussed ad nausium, this schedule turned out to be pretty solid.

Too much focus was placed on the DII games and the lack of "big names". Even on paper I felt this was a pretty good schedule prior to the season. It's exceeded my expectations given the success of Middle Tennessee (# 6 RPI), Clemson (# 52) and even Toledo (# 111) and Eastern Kentucky (# 126).

We expected St. Bonaventure and ETSU to be good, but these were the RPI's of those other teams last year:

MTSU (# 77)
Clemson (# 127)
Toledo (# 184)
Eastern Kentucky (# 216)

Now, granted, all 4 of those teams could drop in the rankings over the course of the season, but at least to this point, they've been pretty solid. We have the 37th-ranked non-conference schedule so far, and it stands to improve with our final 5 games, even after taking the hit from Radford and Campbell.

Hell, even ECU isn't an RPI drain this year. Imagine that?
