But, do you think it will be a pitch to garner a little more TV money? Once Coastal joins the league, an east west division split, with crossovers? How would it work? Maybe they would rotate each year which division winner hosted the title game. I could see some really good crowds in the right situation. In 2012 when stAte played MTSU for the unofficial title game in late November we had 31k. If the weather held up, I think we could have had a good crowd at one more home game last year. It could also help with potential top 25 rankings.

I've always wanted it with the team with the best record playing at home. I feel that I'm in the minority.

As a Coastal alum and huge fan living in Texas, I would not be happy if a division split happened.

I want / desperately need my Chants traveling to San Marcos, TX and Lafayette, LA to play games.

The odd part of having two five-team divisions is it appears South Alabama and Troy would be in separate divisions... right?
