I think the SBC could walk away with multiple P5 upsets this season.

Arkansas State has a first team All-SBC DE, and a 5-Star DT (97 on 247) that's now eligible to play. I'll be looking to see how they matchup against Auburn's shaky QB situation.

Arkansas State fans, what are the other D-Line/LB guys like? Do you have talent and depth across the board?

Says his QB will be better, several new coaches, etc., etc. Showed off his new ride, a $200k BMW that tops 160, and appears ready for the new season. I'm just a little less optimistic about the game after viewing but they are projected fifth in the division behind Arkansas.

ASUJohn, good to see you.

A-State's front 7 is deep and strong. Have a JUCO LB, Kyle Wilson, that impressed so much in spring that he had coaches toying with All-SBC LB Xavier Woodson at nickel, where Justin Clifton came on as a freshman last year and earned playing time until he got injured.

Griffin Riggs was an impact freshman at DE, and former Texas Tech/Auburn player Chase Robison is also at DE. Waylon Roberson at nose really helped us last year vs prior years.

D-line is probably the deepest unit on the team - with maybe WRs challenging them.

Beside Dee Liner, we have Waylon Roberson, a 340 lb NG. We also get Tajhea Chambers back at LB. He earned a starting position last year as a true freshman and got 3 sacks in his first game against USC. Then went out with season ending injury early in the Mizzou game. We will be deep at every position on defense except CB. That will be our biggest weakness.

We're also pretty thin up front after several injuries.

Interesting, though I do agree. The stars would have to align for you guys to pull off the W vs GS.
