RE: 2016 Tribe Football
Possible Two Team Depth Chart Gong into Camp, Will Probably Change by NC State.(Just for fun)

Not sure who may be ready behind Ugokwe. Five receiver rotation. I believe Kujak and Hart will get the nod ahead of Christian and Armstrong. Kuzjak produced last year and Hart was hampered by injury (but is a senior). If Christian is what has been advertised and he learns the playbook quickly that could change. Lubnow played outstanding last year as a backup, hard to keep him on the sideline. The two deep on the d-line is a toss up as they rotated in a lot last year to keep fresh legs out there.

Defense
DE - Ahola, Suarez
DE - Gryder, Kleinrichert
DT - Donald, Murray
DT - Stephens, Davey
SLB - Dulaney, Lubnow
MLB - Vlissides, Atkins
WLB - Harvey, Schwab
CB - Reed, Smith
CB - Swinton, Dykes
SS - Barta, Bearfield
FS - DiPietro, Parker

Offense
TE - Caskin, Hensley
T - Durant, Best
G - Hilland, McConnell
C - Jennings, Wimmer
G - Martinelli, Rhodes
T - Ugokwe, ?
QB - Cluley, McKee
RB - Anderson, Funderburke
WR - Dedmon, Armstrong
WR - Kuzjak, Armstrong
WR - Hart, Christian

K - Dorka, Hopper
P - Windmuller
LS - Anderson
H - Windmuller
KR - Dedmon, Armstrong
KR - Christian, Dunn
PR - Dedmon, Christian

Well, that was fun. I don't know what most of you know about all of the players, so this attempt was strictly for fun and discussion.

The key to this season, IMO, is going to be the unproven defensive players stepping up. I think they're capable, we just haven't had the chance to see it on the field. I suspect early on the defense will struggle a bit more just because there will be so many starters, but I suspect they will be a lot better as the season progresses.

Saw where one-time, top state of VA recruit Joel Caleb had been cleared to play his redshirt senior year at Norfolk St. Talented athlete, was QB in HS and WR at Tech. Think Latrell Scott and staff will make NSU very competitive and will make for a better than expected opening night for the new Zable. Their game with Richmond the week before will give us a tangible reference for an early comparison with UR. Also, an interesting homecoming game for Scott going back to UR. Looking forward to NC State, but especially excited about opening night at the new Zable.

Someone who's close to the video people in W&M Athletics tell them that the TE preview video is set to private. Please make it public so we can view it!

We haven't won in Harrisonburg in more than a decade.

We had them beat two years ago there but somehow squandered an eleven point fourth quarter lead.

2016 would be the perfect year to reverse this trend.

Roster is updated. Two guys with incorrect numbers.

Kris Hooper still listed as #22 but wears #81.

Tyler Crist listed as #55 LB, but is wearing #36 and is working at FB.

We've had trouble winning a football game with Richmond recently...perhaps the guys should take a note from W&M's women's tennis team: dating back to 1980 the Tribe women have beaten UR forty-two consecutive times!

Coach Andrews seems to like the progression of the defense. Lol asked areas that need improvement, he replies offense and special teams!

Sounded like he has Parker as one safety and Mike and Ritchie fighting for the other.

Love it! Parker seems like he could be a 4 year impact player.

I like what Coach Andrews is selling. Here's hoping that the defense is ahead of where I thought it might be.

Receiver group has skill and depth for 2016. Depth Wil serve us well throughout the year. On special teams as well.

So do we put Dedmon and Christian on the field at the same time? I'd love to see that but they have very similar qualities.

It would seem to really stretch the defense to have them on the field at the same time.
