We did this same ranking last year -- funny how things change (and don't!). Of the approximately 64 CAA players currently in the NFL, just about half come from three teams. Can you guess them before checking out the link?

It also was interesting to me that several of the teams who have done very well in the conference over the past several years (I'm thinking of Villanova, UNH, and to a certain extent Maine), haven't had as much success at placing players in the NFL as other CAA programs have.

Even still, Tribe Pride is strong in this ranking. Are you surprised? Roll Tribe.

The true test is how many players actually make an NFL roster and break camp with a team . It would interesting to see this list in September and then in December.

And, of course, no CAA team is even visible behind in the distance when it comes to numbers of NFL players
throughout its football history. From Art Matsu back in the late 1920s (Dayton Triangles) to Houston-Carson
this year with the Bears a long history of producing NFL players.
