Camellia Bowl: Wow so original. That must have taken some skillful thought.

New Orleans Bowl: Honestly that game would be very very well attended but that makes ULL the conference champs, we'll see.

GoDaddy Bowl: Would Ark State fans take this as a step back? I'd be getting bored with Mobile by now if I was a Red Wolves fan.

Cure Bowl: On one hand we play ECU which would be a great game and a lot of fun in Orlando. On the other hand, it's the fourth pick bowl so that means GS didn't have that stellar of a season.

It doesn't mean we are conference champs. It means we got to at least 6 wins and the New Orleans Bowl will take us any year that we get to at least 6 wins.

What a bunch of ass-clowns. This just lost all credibility with:

1) A rematch of App vs Ohio (I don't think either team would be overly excited about that)
2) ULL vs. LaTech (only because I don't think ULL will win the conference)
3) Boise State in the playoff 03-lmfao

I thought the conference champion went to the New Orleans bowl. Is that not the case? If ULL had been eligible last year, would they have been picked over champion Arkansas State?

NO Bowl gets first pick but they don't have to take the champion every year is what I've been told.

NOLA Bowl, gets the 1st selection, where we finish in conference has no real bearing on who plays in what bowl.

NOLA = 1st pick
GoDaddy = 2nd pick
Camellia = 3rd pick
Cure = 4th pick

Bowls will select who they think would generate more $$$ & interest

The SBC champion is just guarantee to be placed in a bowl game

SBC Bowls will select who they think would generate more $$$ & interest - it's that simple.

As an App fan I know we aren't going to NOLA as long as either ULL or Ark St. is eligible.

We're not going to Mobile unless all three of ULL, Ark St., and GS aren't eligible.

As a fanbase we better get comfortable with the Camellia or Cure when we're eligible.
