Well, I'll just begin by stating that I have tremendous respect for the man. I really love a guy that is loyal, smart and simply a terrific coach of any sport. He and his teams have made many a UNCW sports fan a fan of this program. This year I really doubted that UNCW would be good. That was based upon losing SO many arms to the MLB Draft. It was crazy. Still, this team somehow was able to be pretty dog-gone good after all. Our Friday starter has been so solid and we've had a freshman come in and step up. We've had tremendous hitting all year and this team has come back big on many occasions. You don't see that happen most years. If they get to a Regional, that would be a great accomplishment. Heck, next year looks like it could be good again. Coach Scalf has done a really good job!

It is simply amazing that even when we are supposed to be in a rebuilding year he dominates.

UNCW owes him more than we know.
