Let's face it, the HT isn't about who is the best player, it's all about stats. You could probably pick who wins the HT by looking at stats without watching a single game.

Same thing with conference PotY awards. Matt Breida and Taylor Lamb won't win the SBC award because Breida has to share carries with our other backs and App State doesn't throw it enough.

It's a moot point anyways because a G5 player will really have to put up ridiculous numbers to have a chance. I think we're more likely to see a G5 team in the 4-team playoff than we are to see a G5 player win the Heisman. Seriously.
