Good god yes it would be. Four top 100 teams, 3 of them in the RPI top 25.

Getting a little sick and tired of how much the NCAA relies on location for non-revenue sports. I know travel expenses are always a concern, but I'd like to be sent to a winnable Regional further west one of these days. ACC/SEC baseball is very clearly superior to Pac-12/Big 12/Big 10 Baseball, both in fan support and performance.

Not to mention we'd have to have a historic season to be able to host a Regional given that Chapel Hill, Columbia, Raleigh, Charlottesville and other areas in the region will always be given preference.

The system protects the power schools from the West and Midwest that we could really do some damage against, IMO. Constantly stacking us up against ACC/SEC teams makes it incredibly unlikely for a team like us to make a Super. Anything is possible though, keep the faith.

I don't think the ACC/SEC teams like it anymore than UNCW does. Why should they have to play a team like UNCW when there are a lot of weaker teams in the tourney. The teams should be seeded from top down and not regional for the national championship. It also gives teams in the west the advantage of saving pitching and less chance of injury, its BS.

I agree. It has to worry them just as much.
