Bobcats complete the sweep over Georgia Southern. I feel that this was our best series of the season, sweeping a good team on the road and coming through in tight situations should give us more confidence going forward.
We move up to 18-10, 9-3 on the season.

Bobcat pitching makes the B9th interesting, but the Cats get it done, take the game and the sweep . . . Much needed . . . Now 9-3 in conference and coming back home. Tuesday we'll see if we can't atone for an earlier loss at UTSA.

App takes 2 from Little Rock. That's going to be a long trip home.

Jags win 12-2 to complete the sweep. 12-0 in conference. I know other than Texas St our conference schedule has not been that strong so far,but 12-0 is damn impressive.

ULL manages only 3 hits, but scores 6 runs and beats AState 6-1
We're 4-8 in league play and now must face the arduous task of heading to Mobile and trying to do something no one else has...beat South Alabama on a weekend.

It's worth noting that Kevin Hill has a 6 plus career ERA against Arkansas State...so maybe we just keep that up or something. He's our best shot at a win, because the other guys in their rotation own us.

Coastal sweeps Gardner-Webb. GWU was 21-7 coming into the weekend but most of the wins were over teams not rated very well.

Well, we have a different view of how the series was taken from asu by UL:
"Clement Lifts Louisiana Baseball To Series Win Over Arkansas State."

Little Rock's bus just got stuck in my neighborhood trying to make a tight turn. Rough day.

Your Saturday and Sunday pitching, and our general ineptness offensively won the series. Clement was very good, but it was a 2 run homer after we made a 2 out error to keep an inning alive, and after we elected to not walk him and instead groove a 3-0 fastball.
Lots of poor decisions countered by very strong pitching by the Cajuns.

Little Rock's bus driver has got to be the dumbest moron on planet earth. I have no clue how he got to where he was. No GPS would take you that way.

They aren't obnoxious homers. You can tell who they root for, but they aren't annoying about it. They are also very knowledgable of both teams, and are even doing a decent job of the Cajun name pronunciations.
A+ work by that crew. Also, picture quality is great.
That's our normal radio crew. You might remember Baumgartner, He was an all conference player about 5 years ago for us. Drove you guys insane a few times. Play by Play Matt Stolz is excellent, and is probably the least biased PBP man around.
The downside is that when he does TV, we're forced to listen to our Women's Basketball announcer do the radio for baseball, and he's horrible. Rest of the crew are Radio/TV students here, they do a wonderful job.
Cajuns win game 2 5-2. Rubber Match will be tomorrow at 1pm. Their starter today was just downright nasty.
Starter you were referring to is Wyatt Marks. He had a few rough outings about a month or so ago, but has pitched well in the last two weekend series. When he is ON, his stuff can be as good as Leger's (our Friday guy).
Freshman, Nick Lee, was the guy you saw today. He was the top HS righty in the state last year. I was impressed with both Marks' and Lee's performances this weekend. And Leger really didn't that bad either, he just made one huge mistake in giving up that 3 run HR.
And what can you say about Kyle Clement? Dude was just cleared to play ball again about a week ago, and he carried the Cajuns to a series win today.
