I initially thought that Spike would have a much easier transition than this. But I guess that comes with the territory when the players are put into a position to play for a coach who they didn't choose to play for.

At the end of the day after the smoke clears I think he will be okay. Especially that half/most of the team graduates in the next 1-2 years hence the team will be fully under him.

London is transferring to North Carolina Central from the MEAC. Looks like the team is made up of all Seniors and Juniors... Interesting

This should fill out the scholarships for the coming year.

With the two transfers sitting that gives 11 active guys (plus Cartwright and any other walk-ons).

It could be an interesting start to the seasons at the guard position with Mojica being the only one to play in college since 2014. Even if Canady and Overton get back in the swing of things quickly, we will need significant contributions from the freshmen.

Then looking ahead to 17-18, the depth switches with Rodney and Mo gone and the transfers eligible, it will be much more stacked at guard and thin inside.

We have two open scholarship positions for 2017. My guess is SF and pf/C then we have 9 open slots in 2018.

The 9 in 2018 includes the 2 for next year. In addition, Major should be able to get a 6th year of eligibility since he had two medical redshirts. So unless someone transfers, there would be six scholarship available for the 2018 class.

The only one I really care about is Frantz's brother, I think it would be cool to have a legacy at our school.
