This could be significant for Drexel WBB fans. Drexel has seemed to be playing second fiddle to some dominant team in the CAA for many years. First it was the ODU dominance (even though Drexel's teams weren't competitive yet during their reign). Then Drexel managed to slip in a championship before the JMU's dominance took off, which was interrupted for 2 years by the Delle Donne dominance.

The coach means a lot in college basketball. Once dominant ODU has been just mediocre since Wendy Larry resigned.

So now we'll find out if JMU can continue their dominant run without Brooks. Or could a window of opportunity open up for Denise Dillon and Drexel to take over as the top team in the CAA?

Big loss for JMU. We could see the same thing if the Nova job ever opened up for Denise. Only difference is JMU was Knnny's alma mater. Time to take advantage of this and rise to the top.
