It didn't help that he had to sue to get his bonus for making the NCAAs. Frankly, I think that did it as much as not getting a raise.

I also saw somewhere that he was only paid $850,000 base last year. Maybe over a million with incentives.

Just because he was donating some money back doesn't mean he wasn't being paid that money in the first place.

Coach Haase 2015-16 Compensation

University Compensation:
$850,000 Base Pay
$75,000 Radio/TV talent Fee
$75,000 promotional and Fund Raising Fee

Bonuses:
$50,000 - Regular Season Championship
$35,000 - Conference Coach of the Year
$15,000 - NIT invitation
$100,000

Total Compensation: $1,100,000 not accounting for non-monetary benefits, outside compensation and possible APR bonuses.

Yes I realize that. My point was that he was paying something that the school should have been paying the first place. I don't Bellevue for a second they couldn't have found that money to make those payments.

He may have volunteered to make the payments, but he shouldn't have had to. It probably helped him in his decision to leave.

We had PD3, Kinnard, Frank Holmes, and Mukubu, as well as Tiller (who went on to be a very good 4 year player at Mizzou) and Mykal Riley (who went on to be pretty good at Bama).

His system can and still does work. We would have the depth to run it here successfully.

You guys are all about the revisionist history.

I would love someone who ran Anderson's style. It was fun to watch and the players always gave their all win or lose.
