Mike Golic leads the national Mike & Mike bracket...and he lost Mich. State, his Champion. Oops...

It was a crazy start to March Madness, but the first two rounds are now in the books. RollTribe11 and WM_Destro are in a lock for first with 450 points and are representing W&M well by performing better than 92.1% of brackets nationwide. BillyMac rounds out the top three with 440 points. The next two rounds should be fairly interesting. Here's a quick breakdown:

- RollTribe11 currently has 11 of the Sweet 16 in play and accurately predicted all the Sweet 16 teams in the South and West Regions. RollTribe can lock up a lot of points with Kansas, Miami, Duke, and Oklahoma victories in the next round and has a chance to get 3 Final Four teams correct (Kansas, Oklahoma, and UNC).
- WM_Destro also has an impressive 11 of the Sweet 16 in play and accurately predicted Notre Dame's birth in the Sweet 16. WM_Destro will be rooting for Villanova, Oregon, and Notre Dame to advance to the Elite 8 - victories by these teams should provide a major advantage over RollTribe11. WM_Destro's Final Four teams still in play include Kansas, Oklahoma, and UVA.
- BillyMac also has picked 11 of the Sweet 16 teams correctly and like RollTribe11 has accurately predicted all Sweet 16 teams in the South and West Regions. BillyMac has Kansas, Miami, Oregon, Oklahoma, UNC, and UVA all advancing to the Elite 8, but only has two Final Four teams still in play in Kansas, and Oregon.

There are currently 16 brackets within 50 points of first place, so anything could happen at this point. Note that none of these other brackets were analyzed during the above analysis.

Don't get all comfy up there at the top. Still got all of my Final 4 alive, and I'm coming for you sons of b1tches. Unfortunately, I wrote in "William & Mary" for my national champion, so I'm probably screwed at the end.

Watch out for dark horses WM Beancounter, Tribe 32 and Tribeheasrt. They are all poised for potential upset of the leaders from back in the pack.

Who knew? I literally completed this in under 5 mins. My cash bracket is in the toilet.

It would help if UNC were to find a way to lose soon. It seems that my biggest threats are those with the Tarheels advancing in the East (I'm out with Kentucky). Based on the current beat down of Indiana, it's not happening tonight.

I think this is a correct analysis of our own "Final Four" -- go 'Cuse!!!

If Oklahoma wins out – WM Destro wins with 1250

If UNC wins out – WMSportsBlog wins with 1160

If Villanova beats Oklahoma, and Villanova or Syracuse is Nat’l Champion – LeadBolt wins with 1000

If Oklahoma beats Villanova, and Syracuse is Nat’l Champion – Blow Gym rat wins with 990

(Which, having been spoken aloud, will now never happen).

Sounds like 3 old guys and the Sports Blog are in it with Destro and the Blog most likely winners and LB and BGR cursed by acknowledging they still have a chance...

Putting aside perceived quality of the teams and looking at it statistically, I'd say you're actually the most likely winner. Like Destro (with Oklahoma) and the Blog (with UNC), if "your team" (Villanova) wins twice, you win. But unlike them, you have an additional "back-up" way to win.

I, on the other hand, need a blue moon, a black swan, a total eclipse and a couple of bigfoot sightings for my bracket to pull it out.

I can't believe the Blog still has a chance, I gave up after State lost. GO HEELS!

I'd say it's a race between LB and the Blog. I have a feeling the Buddy Hield train will come to a stop with Nova or UNC. My Kentucky pick to the championship game really screwed probably one of my best brackets ever.

Destro, if I'm not mistaken we are in the same class. I don't know who Blow Gym Rat is, but with the handle like that I figured he was from "back in the day" as well. Perhaps even an old frat brother who hung out there a lot, but that is pure speculation...
