You got a compliment out of him...be happy with what you get. You're still dealing with your arch rivals here...

Does that put Little Rock in at-large territory?

The best thing for the conference is for Little Rock to remain undefeated until the championship game, and then barely lose in the final seconds.

Maybe then we could get two in the tourney if Little Rock is a guaranteed shoe-in for the tournament regardless of the championship game results.

I don't know what their schedule looks like, but not necessarily. If they don't have any signature wins, the committee will try to find a way to keep them out. Missouri State had an RPI of something like 28 in the late 2000's and they didn't get an at large bid because of their schedule quality.

Schedule isn't the greatest, but they have a ton of road wins this year including San Diego State, DePaul, and Tulsa.

SOS rank of 226, 2-1 against top 50 rpi teams and no other games against top 100 teams (although UTA is sitting at 101 so they might slip into the top 100). Not a great resume. Murray State was 25-5 I think after losing their conference championship game to Belmont last year. They got snubbed. Possible but far from a lock,

Memo to UTA.....

This is what non-FB members are supposed to do for their conference.

Nice job Little Rock. Keep it up.

I'd say they did their part in non-conference play this season.

Ah yeah. I honestly haven't paid much attention to college basketball this year, so I don't know what the bubble looks like, but having teams like Louisville and SMU ineligible certainly helps teams like UALR out because it frees up two more spots that otherwise would have been taken.

SOS will hurt them. Do they have any losses to 150 or worse RPI teams?

Yeah, they lost a rivalry game with Arkansas State in Jonesboro.

They're 30 seconds away from a REALLY bad one.

So, we can go back to the unofficial AState board motion to throw Little Rock out of the league for not pulling their weight again?

Nice job Little Rock. Keep it up.

Compare our non-FB sports to yours and then get back with me. Our OOC record was better than anyone's and if MVP candidate didn't year his ACL, you'd better believe we'd have been right there.
