RE: UNCW Game 2
This team will drive you crazy!

From the depths of the Towson debacle and the first 30 minutes last night to the sublime, magnificent performance of the last ten minutes. Who scores 38 points in nine minutes...that's 150 point rate for a game...
with such a sensational display of basketball?

Charlie Woolum picked the starting five as a group for the POG award on the radio afterwards and he's right.
Also noted our defense those final ten minutes as a key to the game.

Somebody has to come up with a nickname for David Cohn, who had as fine a night as point guard as I've ever seen a W&M player have. No turnovers despite a game long press, six assists, 21 points..even three rebounds. He's a blur on the court.

And Terry wore his emotion on his sleeve (if he had a sleeve) during the big run. What a competitor.

Let's pack Kaplan for Terry and Sean Saturday afternoon.

I'm exhausted. What's next.

Cohn is the Tasmanian Devil. Or better yet the Roadrunner. Beep! Beep!

I believe that the tribe are 3-0 since adopting the alternate golds. Is that right? Also, I believe it has been a double digit win each time.

I think they wore them for the Delaware game last year on 2/14. That was a loss.

Thanks. I wasn't sure. It just feels like the tribe wins every time they wear the gold.

Nice game all. Epic run at the right time. Think there was a bit of home cooking on the calls that got essentially our whole team in foul trouble, but that didn't at all play until the epic run. Hope to not see you until finals in Baltimore.

Good game.

To be fair, you guys are 344th in the NCAA (3rd to last) with 24 fouls per game and had 25 yesterday so that is only an increase of 1 over your season average

Even more than 150. 38 points per 9 minutes is a pace for 169 points.

Yeah the refs called that one TIGHT. Which always seems to benefit us. Even Jay and Charlie were saying we benefited from some of the calls.

No problem with the overall total. Many of them occurred early which landed much of our go to guys on the bench very early. (Bryce played 2 mins in first half)That's a difference maker. We had several guys log a bunch of minutes that haven't been playing at all. Regardless, you guys closed, we didn't. Not making excuses

My impression has always been that the refs tend to call games more loosely in the conference tournament.

Hope that is not the case this year. Maybe with tournament attention on them, they will work the games implementing the new guidelines they were given this year.

If this same game had been against a certain other CAA rival the whining and crying about officiating could still be heard over and through mountains . You guys do not look for excuses and you give credit to other team and what they did to win...Classy

Great dunk but I keep getting distracted by the lunatics at the table in the background.

Tribal - Is there any truth to the rumor that Terry winked at you in the stands after making his third three pointer on the night?

No, but if he did, I'd remind him that he's made 1 of every 4 on the season while shooting over 50% inside the arc. I'd give him credit for doing the quick math and realizing the latter is obviously the more productive. ;-)

He does seem to have found his 2014-2015 3 pt rhythm. Maybe he'll nail a three at the buzzer to send us to the NCAAT and I'll gladly eat that roadkill crow.

Good to meet you. Have a safe trip back. Maybe we will see you in Baltimore.

Great to meet you as well. Thanks for showing my friend CG some love this season and for helping lead the university into making kaplan a great place to watch a game.

If its Tribe Seahawks in Baltimore on Monday night i am going to do my best to be there. Hopefully going to make Williamsburg an annual road trip
