WM stays on the other side of the bracket too, having to play JMU again and possibly Hofstra. The two seed, IMO, is actually a better draw for us matchup wise.

Yep,
didn't get the NIT auto bid, but did get the side of the bracket without W&M, who seems to give us the most trouble besides Hofstra. The way this is set up, it really gives the best individual matchups to the 1 and 2 seeds.

Yup I agree avoiding William and Mary and Hofstra until the finals is huge for us. The auto NIT bid miss out sucks for sure

If you look at our RPI and compare it to last years we are smack dab in the 4-6 seed range of NIT teams.

Add in the fact we got our 20th D1 win today plus we are co champions in the 9th toughest league in the nation, and I feel really good about our chances for the NIT should be have to go that route.
