That's just not as cool as Idaho's powerpoint that a 5th grader could have legitimately put together.

Oh she did a wonderful job. I'm just a little perturbed that her grandfather didn't check for little errors, such as missing the fact that AState has 2 FBS OOC Wins since 2013, not 1.

Great job NMSU . . I would definitely like to be in a Western Division with New Mexico State, Texas State, Arkansas State, and Louisiana . . these 4 states share borders . . if we could just shrink the size of Texas that would cut down on geography issues significantly . . 03-lmfao

No, not counting wins over Idaho apparently. You may forget, but we beat you guys in OOC play in 2013.

Believe me, there's very little I've forgotten about that godawful year. I doubt he's counting that as an OOC win for these purposes.

I guess she didn't want to list that USA had 4 OOC FBS wins from 2013-2015.

Based off the presentations, I could see NMSU being voted in and Idaho being voted out.

I don't know what year the budgets represent, but the slide showing overal budgets and football budgets do not appear accurate. USA's budget listed was 1.6 million short and the football budget listed was 1.4 million short.

I have to admit, I don't understand this slide. A bunch of other Belt schools have OOC wins during that period. Maybe they're just listing the western ones? I've gotta believe this was explained during the presentation.

They are full voting members. That means they get to vote on all matters of affiliation. Hartwick's and Howard's Men's soccer affiliation is voted on by all 11 schools as well, even though only 3 of them sponsor soccer.

No vote for Coastal yet, though they do have voice in the process.

Just curious, does NMSU get to vote on Idaho's status and does Idaho get to vote on NMSU's status? I assume the school being voted on will not get to vote on it's own status.

In my view NMSU should have been invited to C-USA last time around. Good travel partners with UTEP and two for one stops for visiting schools. Since that did not happen, I hope the Aggies get a vote to stay in the SBC at least for FB. Their basketball would be a plus for both conferences.

If we keep NMSU I don't see the point of kicking Idaho unless there is another program we plan to bring in for 2018. That would be the ultimate slap in the face to Idaho.

Let's extend both through 2019 and look for Idaho's replacement starting in 2020.

RE: NMSU's Presentation
If NMSU is willing to help cover travel so that it doesn't cost any more to travel to Las Cruces than is does to Boone for the Western schools, the Sun Belt needs to invite them in all sports, as long as there are divisions in non-football sports.
