I have to admit I'm a bit jealous on this one.

Congrats on the H&H Panthers!

The reality is a game with GaSt should be attractive for a Southeastern team as Atlanta has the largest alumni base for most schools outside of the home state. Add in the recruiting aspect and that it would be a home game in another city. Maybe the Ted with students close by can change that by the time the game is played. I'm surprised this is the he first p5 game they have secured.

Southern had no room to schedule them, or something.

I know for a fact we tried and know for a fact Vandy AD laughed and said we are not playing GS.

It will happen. Just keep pluggin away. It certainly is not easy which makes ODU's future home schedule shocking.

We're still trying to get a fourth non-conference game for 2017…can't start planning for the '20s.

UAB, UNCC, MTSU, & ODU should do a home and home rotation with GS, GSU, CCU, & App, but I have a better chance being struck by lightning while turning in my winning lottery ticket than that to happen.

Yea that's definitely a good catch there.

Maybe some of it has to do with the move to Turner, so that the crowds won't look absolutely engulfed in an appropriately sized venue. Even though our side was pretty damn full in 2014, it still felt like we were just overloaded by the enormity of the Dome and how it just ate sound. It can make a huge difference.

I would imagine that some discussion of how it's going to look and all played into it.
