It would be bad to be the team that lost to the 5-7 team in a bowl game, but to lose to the team that lost to the 5-7 bowl team at home after some of their fans swore up and down they were going to hang 50-70 points on the winning team... Yep could be worse.

While I agree that there should be a united "Sun Belt front" and we shouldn't bad mouth ourselves, it concerns me that I often see people categorize members of the conference depending on their tenure and years removed from FCS. This percieved hierarchy is not good for the conference, and I hope those in decision making positions for the conference at least don't see it that way.

Yes a posts on message boards have profound national impact. I am sure people will use this as a source of information on the Belt and not every ranking service known to man.
I think you misunderstood my post.
I was actually defending GS against the "you were playing FCS 3 years ago" comment. And I never said this message board had "profound national impact." I simply said that I hope those that DO actually matter, don't view the conference as a caste system based on seniority.
That's all I was saying.
My bad and yes it does not matter in the least how long you have been in the FCS as both App and GS have shown. About the united front, this place is not near as bad as AGS but it has that feel sometimes.
