where did I claim it to be an 'official' list? it's just an opinion, capt snark :-)

The question was "who are you guys looking at"? And you provided a list. None said it was an opinion. I just made that clarification.

If Memphis needs butts in seats, they should man up and book a home-and-home with UAB next year. I bet we could send bus loads from Birmingham full of green and gold.

it's kinda tough for Memphis to sign UAB to a home-home.

we have to play 18 games at FedExForum (per our lease)...we play an 18 game conference schedule (9 home/9 away)...assuming we play a 30 game schedule, that leaves us 12 OOC games, and 9 have to be at home.

that lease was fine in 2004 when we were in a conference that played a 14 game conference schedule...then CUSA went to 16...then we moved to the AAC, playing an 18 game schedule.

now our hands are tied...we already play @Mississippi next season, plus our 9 AAC road games.

We have never sent bus loads in the past but maybe it would be different this time around. However, UAB isn't Memphis answer for getting butts in the seats. They just need to become competitive again.
