Isn't there a limit on number of days/hours they can practice in the Spring?

You have 15 days of actual practice, but it can be divided however you want. Many teams take a week off in the middle of Spring ball.

I think the 15 days have ro be completed within 6 weeks --42 days-- from 1st practice to the last. I may be off a little bit but it is around 6 weeks. Also a "practice" can last no longer than 4 hours

RE: When is Spring practice for your team?
I don't think Arkansas State has released all of its practice dates yet, but we do know that we have a Spring Scrimmage and a Spring Game this year. The Spring Scrimmage, if all goes well, will be played April 8th in Little Rock. The Spring Game will be played April 15th in Jonesboro

We've talked for a while about heading to Little Rock during the Spring, the coaches hope this is the year it gets done.

Yeah, I was just trying to reaffirm because teams are starting 2 weeks before TXST but Spring game is after. Just seems like a long time to drag out the practices if only allowed 15 days. Sort of making sure there wasn't some loophole I'd missed over the years.

Texas State waits until after Spring Break to start, and basically is going 4 practices a week. Most of us will go 2-3 times a week, and take Spring Break in the middle.

Arkansas State will practice 3 days a week for 2 weeks, take a week off, and then go another 2 weeks if we follow the way we've been doing it.
