CAA Football Offseason
This didn't really warrant a thread of it's own, but I'm sure there will be other things that happen over the spring practice time.

Looks like a good get for Transfer State University:

Don't know a lot about him, but probably an upgrade on their recent QB situation.

How the hell did they get a guy from Oregon. I hope he does as well as Kevin Olsen did last year.

JL said Zable renovations are ahead of schedule and should be ready by this fall. Also, new turf field.

Hoping for a change-up on field logo arrangement. Cypher at 50 yd line?

I like our cypher, but from a marketing viewpoint for television it would be a very poor choice. We all know, as do alums, fans of Tribe football, and students that it signifies William & Mary.

But to a tv viewer who may happen upon a televised Tribe game--as many do who go through various games on tv--they have no idea that the cypher is a "W" and "M". Unless you know beforehand what it is, it is indecipherable, unreadable.

My first choice remains the clear "W&M" logo with "Tribe" in one endzone and a spelled out "William & Mary" in the other.

You can put the cypher on the scoreboard.

I like your ideas BT2 ... Another place you see logos you see on fields is something on each side of the field at about the 40or 35 , similar to where Kaplan Arena is spelled out on the hoops court .This way the logo will be visible to both sides of the field The NFL does this for whatever agenda they are pushing like to play 90 program . To me, putting Tribe logo on each side would be nice with William & Mary in each end zone.
Just say no to the cypher on the field since it would not really show up all well

If we're going to get sanctioned I'd rather it be due to giving players Bentleys.

How did we get a 3 year starter at third from Cypress, Ca? It's called using your imagination.

How did I have a three way with Kate Upton and Megan Fox? It's called using my imagination
