The only negative from this game is that mullet wont come out of his hibernation. After that 1st half we would have definitely heard from him

Earlier in the year we would have folded like a cheap tent. It's a different team now, so many people that can step up if you take one away. Fun to watch

Just read thru this thread. It's hilarious. Good thing our players didn't have the same attitude some our fans on here did. You should have learned from last year that no matter the final outcome, this team never gives up.

Hawks played an awful 1st half. Nothing wrong with stating the obvious. I felt as long as we had it around 10 to 12 at half we had a shot.

Easy for us to say. It's not like these kids were intentionally playing that way. They were the soldiers. We were the citizens they were fighting for. So, like I said, I'm glad they refused to give up. Good thing they don't read into our give up attitude on here during games. Sorry if I have a problem with so much negativity so early in a game. They are trying their best to win. Think about if they had the attitude on the floor that we sometimes express. Especially in just the first half.

There is a difference between giving up and stating when your team is playing poorly. There was very little to positive to post in the 1st half and i try to call things like i see them. As i said, i thought if we kept it within 10ish points at half we would have a chance. If the team is not playing well and getting blown out by 20 im going to call it what it is

Why do you feel like I was signalling you out? I was speaking as a whole. It just seemed to early to go so negative. And I know most posts were out of concern. I understand that. I can see the negatives closer to the end of the game and after. But this team has done this before. They have stayed the course and turned games around in the last season and a half.

So you guys remember how I said Hofstra's flaws give them a low chance of winning the CAA tourney? And people called that a little silly? All those flaws were on full display tonight. Tired legs, key missed free throws, not many positives in the way of coaching adjustments....they're a team with a great starting 5, but simply cannot win 3 straight in 3 days. Not gonna happen.

We, meanwhile, looked like a championship team those final 10 minutes. And dare i say it ....is Bryce the best freshman scorer we've seen in a UNCW uniform since Blizzard? Everything he does seems so effortless, and his confidence never wavers. Can't believe he's only a freshman with 3+ years left as a Seahawk.
