Hopefully it gets a bit more TV coverage by being a Thursday game

Have to believe the only reason it was moved to Thursday night was for a possible national TV game.

Posted this info after the basketball game, but posting again.

If you're planning on going to the football game, the Comfort Suites on Hurricane Alley Way at Trinity Rd is by far the closest place to the stadium, <500 yards. Very nice, reasonable price, quiet, but small hotel, with a great sports bar next door. Highly recommend you reserve now, if planning on going. Great place to be Tribe Central. Parking lot opens for tailgating 5 hours before game time. Can easily walk back and forth from room. Only hotel that close. Just booked mine.

I agree, stayed here after our BB game. Nice clean rooms, use your AAA or AARP discount and king bedroom goes for $112 including tax.

Will get more TV coverage, but probably fewer Tribe fans in the stands on a weekday.
