I know these are averages, but there's no way in hell Charlotte had anywhere near 5k people at that game on Saturday. That place was more than half empty.

Well, they're either fudging their numbers or not.

Do they count tickets sold or butts in seats? That could be your difference because we all know not all season ticket holders attend every game.

I've seen what UAB claims as well. I now think we all fudge our numbers pretty significantly

Just about all basketball programs count tickets sold, including UAB.

Everyone counts tickets sold and distributed because that is what revenue accounting counts.

FAU avg less than 1,000 a game is an embarrassment to the league...

They probably are. Their team and program are utter garbage.

I have always wondered why UAB doesn't scan tickets when you go to a game. I then realized that our tickets don't have bar codes. It seems like it would help to get correct data for the accounting and marketing departments. Also, can I buy tickets online to print at home? How does that work?

UAB's numbers are simply embarrassing. If we want to be a "big time program" than number needs to start improving. No more excuses.

still we would be 9th. We should be averaging over 6,000. people need to stop bitching about the conference and opponents and show up and watch this fabulous team we have. Enjoy the ride.

Yep. Everyone needs to be there. This is going to be a historic team, even if we don't make it to march madness this year. We should have a packed house to cheer them on.

We may set the record for wins barring major injury.

I think we will set the records for all time win streak, home win streak, and overall wins in a regular season. Even if we did all of those things and didn't make it into the tournament, it'd still be a historic season, and we should have the numbers in the crowd to celebrate it.

We should have a good chance. I even think we are Deep enough to survive one major injury at this point. The next two games will tell a lot about where we are at. If we can't get people there for records, then we have major issues. Haase isn't going to stay at a program that is middling in cusa attendance. We are better than that, and we need to show that.

One step at a time. I hope our average is above 4,000 after these next two games.

I know it's not as important as it used to be, but the UAB basketball write-ups in the Birmingham News have been minimal lately, while Bama and Auburn get half a page each.
