Towson
This is a very winnable game. I think we will split with Towson, so I will give the home team the nod in this one. Towson has arguably the best frontcourt in the league. They will be a bear down low. Based on the lack of consistency from our bigs, it is hard to predict if we can keep Kaz and Rodney on the floor. We need them this game more than ever. If we get 8 minutes, like last night, out of Rodney we are flat out in trouble and the Tigers will absolutely work us inside. If Rodney can stay in the game, we can give ourselves a chance. If we end up with very much of Mali versus Cameroon, I like Cameroons chances. Both teams are pitiful at shooting so look for a low scoring slug-it-out type game. Offensive rebounds and chances will determine the victor in this one. Win that battle, win the game.

Wow. I though we were improving, but not sad to have missed the first 25 minutes of this one. I can only imagine that the quality of play from the Dragons was only slightly above the jr. high game I was at.

No kidding. I didnt tune into this one but got the halftime and final score. Another win in the second half. 12 points in the first half. Unreal. By no surprise we were out rebounded by 12. They had 11 blocks, 7 by one player. Reminds me of the St Joes game a few years ago.

Thankfully I DVR'd the game and didn't start watching it until after the game was over. I managed to watch the entire game, mostly in warp speed, in about 20 minutes. And I didn't miss a thing.

Pretty should that would be valid in nearly any game during this regime's tenure

RE: Towson
Bump for the 2nd game this time at home.

Since I thought we had a chance the first game and we got annihilated in just about every way, I am not really sure how I feel about this one. Towson has been playing well and clearly have the best front court in the conference. They like playing slowly as well. I have a lot less faith in winning this game than I did last time we played them, so hopefully our bigs are prepared for the challenge and stay out of foul trouble and Terrell Allen gets some timely steals and transition points.

Edited for stupidity as well as putting the Vegas lines

RE: Towson
Wait, so your head tells you that Drexel will win, but your heart tells you they will lose? You WANT Drexel to lose? My guess is that you switched them.

I still can't figure out why this team is so bad, other than typical lack of depth due to injuries. I think we're at the point where (as stated on the Dragon Speak Blog) that we have a coach who has pretty much given up and the players know it. Even though they got totally walloped from start to finish against the kittens last time out, I'm going out on a limb and say that they pull out a win on Thursday. 57-53.

I'm disappointed you didn't put TSU under the heart one Dan.

Though I wish I wasn't cheering for them, I find being a Louisville fan seems to be a much more satisfying thing than being a Drexel fan. Damion gets 29 points on 8 field goal attempts tonight.

Haha yes I switched them JB (and edited) and Water Boy, I thought about it and decided against it even if they are and will always be towson state to me. And of course cheering for a team like Louisville will be more rewarding since they are a top tier team with one of the best coaches. I doubt anyone is surprised at his success there this season when he is not the only player who can do anything on offense.

FYI CAAZone, which had its last post 35 days ago, is working again.

The CAA Zone is dead anyway. A couple of idiots ruined it over the years and drove so many good posters away. No reason to ever go back there.

RE: Towson
Shoot 56% from the floor, 64% from 3, and 81% from the FT line and lose...simply amazing. Got crushed on the boards again, which is not surprising from this Towson squad. Our defense did not do much to slow them down any. Cant let a team shoot 50% from the floor 56% from 3 and 75% from the line. It goes to show you you have to have offense and defense to win, shooting lights out does no good if you cant stop the other team. This is a disappointing loss, if that is even possible with this team.
