A-State picks up a former 4-Star QB
Arkansas State picked up Butler JC QB Justice Hansen formally of Oklahoma. The 6'4 220 lb QB was the #6 pro style QB by Rivals coming out of high school and redshirted at OU and transferred after they got Baker Mayfield. He played 1 season at Butler and has 3 years remaining.

Yeah it all looks good on paper, but as we know that means nothing. Anybody can be a bust.

We got a former 4/5 star RB that had offers from Notre Dame before his grades dropped him to JUCO then us. He never played a snap. Seemed lazy and left the team. Seems like he was big in high school and ran over dudes without trying. Didn't seem to like the effort he needed to put in to get to the college level.
I really hope this guy is good for y'all, it boosts the conference and will look better for us when we beat you.

They got rid of the only TX St coach to beat us in football.

We've already set the standard that you win in San Marcos and we win in Jonesboro.
Y'all keep saying you suck at basketball but then you win.

Truth be told, I think our backup QB from this year will beat him out.

We can't help that you guys suck worse than we do. That's not our problem.
Football on the other hand. Well, you only beat us when we were crippled, which I guess is still more than South Alabama, ULM, and Georgia State can claim.

I agree. Coaches have already said that this is about finding competition for Tabary. The problem we were facing is that because of injuried, we'd only have 2 QB's available in the Spring, and one of which isn't expected to compete for the QB job.
If we had not brought Hanses in, Tabary could have had a terrible spring and still been the starting QB. Now he has someone who will be nipping at his heels.

What happened to CEL? I knew he was supposed to be starting at QB but for some reason that seems to have been changed.

He asked to move to WR because he feels that is his best chance to make it into the NFL.
He, Paschal, and Sanders is going to be one of our best WR Units here in a long time. We just have to have someone who can throw them the ball.

Throw in the former 4 star McInnis kid, and it could be the best receiving corps to ever take the field for us.

How can anyone take you seriously when you have a sigline banner that says Arkansas State was founded in 1906?
PS, that's a joke.

It's a running joke, because I got called out by an AState fan for putting that in my sig with the wrong founding date.

Who was in the college football playoff...sounds like poor talent evaluation by coaches...the walk on is a f'n stud.
