The NCAA and TV network mafia control who gets in. They are not going to let a team in unless they generate revenue. The dollar is behind every decision.
I hear you, 'Nickle, BUT we aren't using RPI to say we deserve to be in (NCAAs, NIT, etc.) but to judge our ranking overall and within the MAC. And, of course, how do we 'rate' versus our next opponent. (We'll be favored vs. N. Florida).
My point is: Based on the Sagarins, RPI, KenPom, etc. I'd say the consensus is that we are a TOP FOUR team in the MAC.
BTW, after Saturday it will be time to "Predict the (MAC) record".

RE: Game Day (a day early): UDM
BTW, was this a fair assessment of the weather MONDAY NIGHT for the UDM game (this is a description of a trip from Toledo to Detroit for the Quick Lane Bowl game at Ford Field):
"I literally almost died driving up to this game. MDOT decided not to salt the roads i guess. We passed 6 accidents in the 50 miles between Toledo and Detroit. It was like driving on a skating rink and at one point we almost lost control. Was an adventurous trip!"
I thought the attendance was pretty good given that the weather was bad and the students are home for holidays.

Salt wouldn't have done any good half of it was rain would've just washed it away.

As usual, people driving faster than the conditions allow contributed to wrecks.
