Outstanding win for the Rockets. Dominated both sides of the ball. Second win over a ranked team this season!

Only 7th 10 win season in school history (should have been 11 if not for the weather vs. Stoney Brook.)

I have to say this. I bashed Ely so many times. He was a good student-OC-coordinator/QB-coach-type against Akransas (doing nothing great, doing nothing bad, manning the ship very well). Thru the season near the end where the top MAC teams played each other -- he shored up. Against WMU, it was "him" -- but against us of WMU, he played under-par.

Not only did you guys beat Temple, you head-butted them and said: "No. You never even won the MAC East. Congrats on your consolation of winning the lesser AAC Division that you were in. You'll get a kiss from grandmaw. Have fun. Still no wins against winning MAC teams since you joined. Eat it!!!"

With work and refereeing I couldn't watch or listen to the game but what a nice finish to the season. It wasn't the season of dreams but 10-2 can certainly be categorized as a successful season. Proud of these seniors. They left the program as most Toledo graduates do...as winners!

Great to see that you harbor no ill will against Temple from their time in the MAC.

So our beloved hometown Blah newspaper had two riviting headlines in today's paper. Front page: Falcons Challenge. So no mention of big victory. On the sports page we are above the fold, bit the big bold game headline after a 10 win season and a dominating bowl performance was "Ely plays in final game." This is a printed copy from a gas station. Turns out that the fine print says game not completed by press time. WTF, it was a 7 pm game? How does a game story not make it to press for a 7 pm game?

So does this mean that the actual game story will be printed on Thursday's paper? Which means we will be competing and losing for ink space with BG's game story? Terrible
