This guy or paper seems to have a vendetta against Coastal. This is not the first negative press I've seen CCU get from the local media. One guy did an editorial piece about what a mistake it was to join FBS and the Sun Belt.

I'm not sure but I think it's one person. For the most part the articles are generally positive. Not much help on this sorry lol.

D. Hogue is not even listed as staff on their website. Doing a search for his name is difficult because the A.D. at Coastal is Matt Hogue.

I think D Hogue listed is a mistake. The byline reads "Editorial Board" so I think it is a way not to blame any one person while the paper rattles their sabre a bit for "transparency".

There are a couple of locals who have written in. They are typically complaining about taxes more than anything else. The paper overall seems to support the school but will do these pieces every once in a while.
