I thought this thread was about basketball!!!! man.... The SunBelt has to be the easiest FBS conference to play in. No offense here...

Apparently you have not seen the SBC commercial that has played about 3000 times this year. "The SBC is not an easy conference!"

Yes, I cringe a little everything I hear it. It's like, who are they (the powers that be in control of the conference) trying to convince,? Us or themselves?

Without the girl with the awesome accent near the end, there would be nothing to look forward to in that thing.

You bet it ain't easy. Sometimes you can't even get to the games. Just ask Hud.

WKU is obviously pretty good in football now but doesn't have the same level of sustained football success that GS and App do. Having a few good years doesn't mean that you've progressed as a program. If that were the case North Texas, FIU, and FAU (who all had their moments in the Sun Belt) would be better than they are.

Just talking football...I'd take Appy and GaSo over the muts and WKU....Appy and GaSo are just as good on the field with a whole bunch better attendance numbers.

FTR, the title of the thread was purely about the commercial.

As for the debate over whether the conference actually is easy, let me put it this way: I'm not a college athlete. I never was. Far be it from me to say to about an App State team or any other team in the league that what they do is "easy." That's freaking insulting. I'm not going to say it's "easy" to go out in a sport where players risk getting concussed, tearing ligaments, and breaking bones is easy. Saying, "your conference is easy," and actually meaning it takes a lot of courage from behind the bright screen of a laptop or cell phone. But I do hope the conference gets harder to actually win games for everyone in the league. Moreover, I hope it gets harder for teams outside the league to beat teams in the league. Let's hope that what should be our 9- and 10-win teams will go out and beat those MAC and Sun Belt teams. We could use some quieting of the critics, even if they are critics from a keyboard.

"Maction speaks louder than words". They may have spent a little more on their ad but it stinks too.

Maybe it's just cause I've only seen it a few dozen times and not thousands, but I like theirs better.
