We are getting better. Still have issues to clean up, but last night was a good win.

Lol, he was close to being a Blazer XHCMD didn't pull the trigger but he had some contact with that staff. I don't think Haase gave him a look in the fusion 2012 class.

Yeah, it was weird to see the same five guys come back on the court after the first media timeout.

TJ probably didn't want to wait until 2 weeks before school started to sign with UAB. Lol

No. The sharpshooter was 0-5 from three point range. He's actually 0-10, dating back to the Jax State game. But some think he is the offensive juggernaut who should be starting.

RE: Georgia State Thread
I don't care necessarily if Tosin starts (I really don't think he should, however.), but Lee and Cokely need to play together more. Also, I think that Baxter and Mehinti's minutes need to be staggered potentially, so has to hopefully limit the lack of shooting and offense that both of them bring. Although, Baxter has been a good offensive player so far. I also like that Lee and Mehinti play well together. Lee especially is a pretty good passer. Their games seem to compliment each other. The team also seems to play well with Williams and/or Sullivan on the floor. I agree the lineups were better last night. If we aren't going to be a very fast paced team, it may actually work to our disadvantage to constantly sub in 2 or 3 players without letting anyone get into a rhythm. Watts is Watts. Madison seems to be the odd man out.

This was a good win. I'll start to get really excited again if we are somehow able to bet Ill St. on the road.

Can you ever say anything at all without coming off as a huge *******?

He is a very good all around player, and has contributed a lot. That's even without hitting his threes recently. I don't think it's a coincidence that the team played better when he got more minutes. He was tied second on the team in points, had 9 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. All of that without hitting a three.

He was 6-6 from line. He's actually 12-12 for the year.

How's that. Did I sound like an *******?

Watts and Baxter both hit a three last night. Watts actually hit a really big one due to the timing in the game. Both are very valuable to this teams success in my opinion.

Dirk had a bad shooting night, everything looked a little long that I can remember. I'm not terribly concerned at this point, because he has such a smooth stroke and doesn't lack confidence. It's probably just a mental hurdle he needs to overcome. I'll trust his juco shooting percentages over the small sample size we have so far. If things don't start to change in the next 5 games or so, I will begin to worry.

I agree. Watch him hit a couple in Illinois this weekend 02-13-banana02-13-banana.

Watts & Baxter's efforts & production have gone under the radar some.
Both have provided some very good minutes in games when Norton has been off.

Baxter has been very good this season. Watts is very steady and you always know what you will get with him. I'm taking nothing away from either player. But I think you have to stagger the minutes with Mehinti, who brings very little on offense, with other less offensively gifted players. I'm on the Williams bandwagon. I really like what Sullivan is doing, as well.

So you know who the playmakers are too, and who actually cares for the ball on offense.
