ESPN3-WatchEspn
Is anyone aware of a way to record with a DVR ESPN 3 games? I can stream the game with a chromecast most of the time, but I do not know how to record it. With both the basketball game and the football game on this weekend, it would be nice to record one while attending the other.

ESPN 3 archives there broadcasts for a week or two after they play live. I watched the replay of the 1st playoff game late Saturday. Same quality.

ESPN3 archives all of the games. Since ESPN3 is online content only, I don't think you can DVR, but you can easily pull up the archive of past games. WatchESPN lets you watch anything from the ESPN family of networks based on your TV provider, but I don't think they archive things the way ESPN3 content is archived.
