RE: Bowl outlook after Week 12
GS could play at Ark St on a Tuesday and App at home the following Tuesday next year. That would be my guess.

Yup, those will definitely be Tuesday games.

That is generally how ESPN does it. There are two Tuesday Night games for the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday's in October. One teams plays both of those games, meaning back to back Tuesday games, but only one is a home game.

That means next year we could see GS play at Arkansas State on the 2nd Tuesday, and App play at GS the following week, or GS play at Arkansas State with AState playing at ULL the following week.

My guess though is that the AState/ULL game gets a break from Tuesday's for a year. We've done it 4 straight years, it's someone else's turn.

Lol at GS losing in Paulson. We have the best home field advantage in the league. We cover the spread easily in the last two games.

App would have the same record OOC w your OOC schedule the last two years, not sure what your point is.

I'm not sure a team that lost to Liberty at home should make any assumptions about OOC games.

for the record, I will be in NO, Mobile, Montgomery, or Orlando. Not missing our first bowl game.

That's how a real fan does it.

Enjoy your first bowl.

It's a great experience.

If you're arguing we'd go 1-4 or better vs. NCSU, GT, WVU, UGA, or Navy so you got me there.

I would like to argue that statement....but I don't think you can.

I definitely understand your point, but man if y'all play on CBS Sports, hardly anyone would even know that you're in a bowl game.

I'd say the differential would be about 500k people. We're still in the office pools and scores for bowls. I'd trade that viewership for the first bowl and give us an opportunity to sell twice the tickets should we need that metric next bowl season and the SBC has more eligible teams than slots.

I thought the New Mexico Bowl was the first bowl?

OUR first bowl.

FTR, I'd much prefer GoDaddy due to the exposure factor. But that's probably because I'll be there no matter where we play. I can understand wanting to get as many fans there as we can, though.
