I've never heard a flag for an illegal block before the ball goes 10 yards.

We got called for the same thing our last game. Kicker kicked the ball and followed it. Our player blocked the only guy who could get to it while the kicker waited for it to go 10 and fell on it. Probably a good rule.

Can you imagine the commentary out of San Marcos if Georgia State was to 6-6 and be in a bowl while Texas State went 7-5 last year and got left out?
