OT: Rivalries Survey
An interesting survey being conducted by a couple of professors regarding sports rivalries. There's a specific category for FCS football which takes about 5 minutes to complete. I think it will be interesting to see how the results come out when all of the data is finished being collected.

Take it here, if you're interested: http://knowrivalry.com/rivalry-survey.php

RE: OT: Rivalries Survey
My love of all things Tribe runs deep but my hatred of [#1 rival] is infinite. I think I broke the survey banging on the keyboard.

I think this link might be a virus. I am too paranoid given the web address to click on it. I am curious for our fans: Who do you consider our #1 rival?

For me, it is currently either JMU or Richmond. Richmond left the CAA for everything but football. For football, I still think they are the #1 rival. For basketball, it might be Delaware right now or Northeastern. It really cannot be JMU because they are not competitive with us in basketball.

It's totally fine- a professor from WCU and one from Northern Kentucky. Took it on my phone. Pretty interesting questions regarding how you'd react to rival fans in certain situations.

OT: Rivalries Survey
I listed Richmond as #1, but as I read the questions about taking pleasure in failures of the other team ODU and JMU came to mind first.

It hurts more when The Tribe does not beat UR in football more so than any other CAA team, but beating JMU in anything from basketball to tiddlywinks is quite satisfying. Many of you do not remember JMU beat W&M in basketball frequently, it is our turn now to own them . Plus, it is fun to hear them whine and blame everyone else for the loss.

I thought the exact same thing. Even though I listed Richmond as our #1 rival the survey asked me what I thought about JMU having players suspended. Just the thought brought a smile to my face.

I would have given JMU more than "100" if it allowed. I decided to cooperate so went with JMU, UR, then UD. Had it been something other than football, I would've gone UD by a mile then NU.

RE: OT: Rivalries Survey
I had Richmond listed first (60), followed by JMU (30), then Villanova (10). Probably should've included Delaware but I HATE Villanova football. Probably personal anecdotes more than anything.
