Anyone ever fly to Williamsburg for a game?
I travel for work and have lots of frequent flyer miles, so I might try to fly up for a potential playoff game. I'm just tired of driving so far by myself, the wife would rather stay on the farm with her horses.

Anyone fly into the Newport News airport? Any decent options for getting to and from the airport besides renting a car?

Richmond not closer, but more flights and often cheaper.

Transport afterward add significant $$. Renting a car is probably cheaper.

Thanks for the info. Even with a free flight, I'm probably better off driving. Transport from the airport looks pricey.

Amtrak runs from Richmond (2 stations to choose from) to Williamsburg on Saturday mornings. Would probably take some coordination, but I bet it could be done.

It would take some coordination but if I get playoff tickets (and a pass from the wife) I'd be happy to pick you up at the airport on the way down.

Newport News/Williamsburg is closer and I almost had to catch a cab to get back to Th'Burg and it was going to $25-30 one way, which has to be easier than your normal drive. There is Groom transportation or how about Uber even ?
