BREAKING: TxState Regents and Coach Dennis Franchione have come to terms on deal that will involve Franchione resigning at end of season.

My sources have told me that Fran is in fact gone at the end of the year. Texas St has a chance to put the Sun Belt on notice with the right hire. San Marvelous should be very easy to recruit too.

I wonder if I change my twitter handle to something like DawgInsiderElite and tweet about Richt or Pruitt resigning suddenly or something I can sow a little discord and distraction before our game this weekend, hmmm...

Kyle White has committed to Oregon State today. Tyler Tutt will probably end up at either Iowa or Boise State. This is the fallout from this disaster of a season. If we are making a change at Head Coach, it would be wise to make that move in the very near future.

Fran has come out to deny the report and now Thayer ivans of SI has tweeted the individual that started this hubabaloo is a Baylor law student with "friends at UTSA", who apparently has been notorious troll of various universities (he pulled something of this nature earlier this year at the expense of North Texas)

The university had to deny the rumors, which in a way forces the hand of the university to at least acknowledge that such a rumor has credence...

No local media will otherwise force the hand of the university and the closest we have seen is when a reporter asked Fran if he was coaching for his job...and he laughed.

As far as the type of individual who spends time creating fake twitter handles and rumors....complete loser.

The last beat reporter we had was blackballed from covering TXST sports when he wrote honest assessments about the state of the football program.
He went on to being sports editor (he left last year though) and Vozzelli took over. (sometime in 2013)
