This team does have a very sharp edge to it. Also, more than some recent Tribe teams, great senior leadership.

This group of seniors have been awesome. Can't name them all, but they have lead on and off the field. Let's try support them for 5 more games. Counting on a bye in the fist round!

The only other comment adding to the senior leadership, is the next man up productivity the team has had. The development of depth helped keep the momentum going.

If we do have a fist round, I'll take Luke Rhodes.

RE: UR
I would appreciate some advice on logistics for Saturday. What is the best way to get there (I'm familiar with Richmond, but not with UR specifically)? Where is the best place to park? And, I've got a ticket, but not in our section. Will I be able to stand up in the rear of our section or somewhere else?

Thanks in advance. I've been to our games at City Stadium, but not at Robins.

I will let someone else comment on logistics of getting to the URichmond campus. There are large lots on the fringes of the campus and shuttle buses to the stadium. You can also walk from the lots, a little long, but manageable. Not sure where your tickets are located. FYI, My family has 12 tickets in section 209, rows E and F. I believe that there are quite a few W&M folks in 209, because the section that our ticket office had to sell went quickly.

Enter Richmond campus by taking Old Mill Rd. or Towana Rd. to Campus Dr. and turn left on Gateway Rd. Enter the Robin's School of Business parking lot on the right. Free parking and tailgating. You'll see plenty of Tribe fans. No open containers visible.

Section 209, Row D it is, in fact. Thank you gentlemen for your input. And no sweat about the open containers, I plan on abstaining until I arrive at a post-game celebration to celebrate our victory.

80 – Roughly the number of new white helmets with red spiders decals that Richmond will break out for Saturday’s game against W&M. UR has worn blue helmets with red spiders decals since Dave Clawson became coach for the 2004 season.

Yeah, the Spiders planning a bunch of special things for the 125th meeting. Should be fun.

Never realized that all three state CAA schools had never been in the FCS Playoffs in the same season.

The defender looked like he got run over by a truck, but was able to hang on to KA as his back slammed to the turf. Nice run, 1st down.

KA then stood up, looked down at the defender, and started woofing at him, right in front of the ref. It was too demonstrative, and I wasn't surprised he was flagged. Minus 15. Just dumb, and totally not necessary. Laycock was pretty angry with Anderson, who got yanked for MAS.

On the other hand, ive never seen Laycock so furious as he was with one of his coaches after the Fetters TD, when we got the 15 yards for our bench guys interfering with the ref pursuing the play. Man, was he hot.

I get your point, but I think even Laycock realizes he needs guys like Anderson who play with a lot of passion. On Anderson's TD he trucked the middle of their d-line, so if it costs you a 15 yarder once a game, that doesn't do any harm, then you go with it.

I am a bit tired of the "What a nice young man, he hands the ball to the official then shakes his hand" attitude. That doesn't win you titles, having an "edge" does.

100% agree having an edge is a good thing. 100%. But you have to be in control - otherwise that stuff can cost you a game. Throw something against the wall in the locker room after the game if you need to. There are 99 other guys playing their arse off too. Did anyone see the craziness at the end of the VT-GT game? The VT guy got a 15 yd personal foul penalty at a crucial moment setting up GT with the game winning FG...only to have a GT player return the favor 1 play later with a personal foul and put GT out of FG range, and GT lost.

I really hope that they are not again this season. I think Richmond has a good shot to miss the playoffs if we beat them Saturday, particularly if the Tribe wins convincingly.

I just checked and there are no tickets to be found from UR, StubHub and Craig's list and last night at QB Club people were asking if there were any to be had. It is early in the week and something just may pop up.

Right now, we are 4 point favorites on 5dimes while JMU is 6 point favorites over Nova in the other big conference matchup.

Just contacted a guy on Craigslist who apparently has tickets, but he won't say how he got them and he's selling them for $25 a piece. Sounds a little sketchy to me.

Given the Stats projected bracket, expecting Craig Haley to pick Richmond tomorrow. He rarely picks us to win though. This, in spite of the mention Sunday in his Week 11 article.
