Feight, Royalty Named All-Americas
WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Sophomore Nick Feight added to his All-America honors and freshman Alex Royalty earned his first freshman All-America honor on Wednesday.
For Feight, who was named Louisville Slugger first-team All-America last week, he was named Third-Team All-America by Baseball America. The sophomore catcher/designated hitter tied UNCW school records with 21 home runs and 24 doubles while setting new standards with 175 total bases, a .726 slugging percentage and a nation-leading 91 runs batted in.
Royalty, meanwhile, posted an 8-2 mark while making 15 starts for the Seahawks, tying the program record for freshmen. The Raleigh, N.C., native was also a Colonial Athletic Association All-Rookie selection.
