St Joes Vs Drexel
Tonight starts a long season. St Joes Vs Drexel. This should be a slow hard nosed game. It will be interesting to see how Drexel plays without Damian Lee and new comer Ahmad.

Prediction 68-62. Drexel win!

I'm not sure if Drexel has ever won a game on Hawk Hill. At least the early 80's. Some of my worst experiences watching basketball have taken place in that arena. I'm staying home tonight watching on TV. GO DRAGONS!!!!

Dragons lost a close one tonight 82-81 on a floor where they haven't won since the late 70's. Despite the loss, I really like the way they battled tonight. I liked what I saw from both the Senior T Allen and the freshman T Allen. If they can stay healthy and continue to have some depth, it should be a fun season.

I was at the game I loved what I saw from both Allens and Fields. I am a little mad at Bruiser for not starting those 3 Abif and Rodney. It makes no sense starting London, Fresh T Allen and Sammy. We almost spotted them 17 points

Any word on why Canady didn't play? They just mentioned briefly that he was out with an undisclosed injury.

He was in dress clothes... he didn't have a cast/crutches or anything. The notes that were released before the game was done after a scrimage on Saturday. Tavon, Fields and Major were listed as minor injuries. I think they wanted to see new freshman and London together and if they played well they may redshirt major?

thoughts?

No chance. You are only allowed to redshirt once. Exceptions are made (like in the case of Fouch) when there are two medical red shirts but I can't imagine the NCAA the would allow a voluntary red shirt after the player has already missed a year.
