RE: CAA Week 10
UR had better not sleep on Nova. The Cats are running the ball very well lately, their QB has been efficient, and their defense is playing better. Let's hope the Spiders are on the first turn of a 3 game losing streak.

EWU and McNeese currently losing.

RE: CAA Week 10
Towson and Maine scoreless still. If Towson gets the win, it will put them at 6-3 with their last game at home to URI. The Tribe will be the only thing standing in their way at finishing a surprising 8-3 and playoff bound. Next week may be a very, very tough game. A Maine win may deflate some Towson incentive for next week.

CAA Week 10
I think a Maine win and Towson has all the incentive in the world. After the carnage across the top of the FCS today, it's clearer than ever that 7 wins out of the CAA and you're in. With a final game against Rhody, a win against Maine tonight and they are in a good spot regardless of next week.

This game has been painful to watch. Not a very good one. Maine has the ball with 1:00 to go at the Towson 45 and it is 0-0. Towson doesn't even have 100 yards yet.

Even as we continue to rise in the polls, many of the message boards and forums seem to show very little respect for or acknowledgement of where W&M is, at this point in the season. In fact, this is the first week that I think we have actually gotten a fair evaluation in the coaches poll.

I think it is based on three things. 1) We lost to Delaware who has played terrible nearly all year except for running all over us. 2) Overall lack of respect for the CAA in general this season. 3) No one expects us to beat either Towson or Richmond based on our late season failures the last 2 years. Message boards tend to focus on the past and assume it will be repeated. Voters in the coaches poll, the fan poll on AGS and the Stats poll have us at about the right spot. With 2 losses, one to Delaware, we can't be any higher unless some teams lose. Mostly though, we need to take care of business this weekend and then complete the 2014 redemption/revenge tour by defeating Richmond next weekend. If the Tribe is CAA champs, we have a solid chance of a top 4 seed( and definitely will get a seed). There is a chance the CAA might get 2 seeds(W&M/Richmond winner,if either finishes 9-2, and JMU at 9-2.

RE: CAA Week 10
Think another part of the problem is JMU may be considered by some as our only good win and people are downplaying it because they lost to Richmond the week before and were without Lee for our game even though their backup is good. Robertson was out when we played Nova and Goldrich came back for the first time the week we played UNH. Just win and it doesn't matter.
