JMU vs Delaware
Delaware pulled a Mickey Mathews and said we are going to run it non stop and you can't handle it.

JMU gave up a whopping 295 rushing yards and 5 yards per carry when they knew the run was coming.
The Dukes were fortunate to win.
58 runs
11 passes

RE: JMU vs Delaware
Hows this for 3 senior days in a row?

2013 UR @ UD Senior Day. UR goes 7 plays, 75 yds in 41 seconds to score game winning TD with 4 seconds left to win 46-43.

2014 VU @ UD Senior Day. VU goes 10 plays, 68 yds in 1:35 to score game winning TD with 23 seconds left to win 35-28.

2015 JMU @ UD Senior Day. JMU goes 5 plays, 51 yards in 48 seconds to score game winning TD with 17 seconds left to win 24-21.

And to top it off, while I'm at it I noticed this. The week after that 2013 Senior Day loss to VU for the last game of the regular season:
VU @ UD. 12+ minutes left 4th qtr, UD leading 34-12.
-VU gets the ball, 12 play, 76 yd drive, TD.
-VU gets the ball, 7 play, 81 yd drive, TD.
-VU gets the ball, 6 play, 58 yd drive, TD. 2 point conversion failed.
-VU recovers onside kick, 12 play, 47 yd drive, 24 yd FG with 5 seconds left, wins 35-34.04-jawdrop Loss knocks UD to 7-5. Would have gotten in playoffs at 8-4..

I almost feel bad for them...um...nah...

True. There were some additional called pass plays where the UD QB just tucked and ran...

UD's defense is good but if there wasn't the cold wind JMU would have had a better passing game and I don't think there's a need for a game have winning drive at the end. Obviously the wind didn't hurt UD's passing game because they have none. But you can't control the weather & the wind...

But you can control Xs & Os- failing to stack the box...JMU stacks the box and I don't think there's a need for a game winning drive at the end..

Bottom line I agree JMU was fortunate to win that game. JMU probably should still be 8-2. Probably should have beaten W&M & lost to UD...

RE: JMU vs Delaware
One thing that was good the way it worked out. Vs W&M Schor was sort of robbed of his attempt to try to lead JMU on a last minute 4th qtr tying or game winning drive. Vs UD he got to do that. Has to be a huge confidence boost for him and the team...

How does Delaware do this where beer can be anywhere in the stadium? We're talking about issues getting beer in the club seats at Bridgeforth, but beer is everywhere at Delaware.

You have to donate $$ to be eligible to buy beer from what I understand.

Right, but you can take it ANYWHERE in the stadium. Is this an issue of different DE vs. VA laws?

We may have enjoyed one on field-level as apparently that is fine @ Delaware.
